COMPONENTS AND DESCRIPTION

 

[1].WITH FIX MOD 1.2.6 ;

Bug fixes:

 

1. Seleucids can no longer recruit Armoured Elephants in provinces with no elephants resource.

2. Armenian provinces have now all the mercenaries they should have.

3. Praetorian infrantry can no longer be recruited before the reforms.

4. The game uses correct (Carthaginian) skin & model for Spanish Generals (no more blue ones!).

5. Thrace: Phalanx Pikemen no longer disappear from building list after reaching last two levels of barracks.

6. Spain can now build Onagers & Long Shield cavalry in Campaign, like in custom battles

7. Pontus' and Scythian Generals get upgraded after the reforms.

8. Horse Archers will now behave correctly during skirmishing.

9.Raised slightly stats and custom battle cost for Thracian late general, before was identical to early. Change based on other similiar factions.

10.Sarmatian Mercenaries, Illyrian Mercenaries & Armenian Heavy Spearmen use correct modifiers when fighting mounted units.

11.Shrine of farming does not allow Gauls to build Naked Fanatics any more (it's not their buildings and all other of its level miss this entry)

12.Slave Archer warband no longer uses Briton officer.

13.Poeni infrantry sprites turn on as they should now (plus few other minor glitches).

14.Numidian Generals can get priests as ancillaries now.

15.Fixed a situation when a mercenary unit used sprites of a given faction instead of their own(this happened when a faction could recruit a unit with the same model entry)

16.Inconsistent mass values for: Bastarnae Mercenaries, Bull Warriors, Silver Shield Legionaries.

17.All the Character Traits Fixes in CVP 1.2.1 (read CVP Readme.txt for details).

18.Using 'Make RTW harder' application allows you to compensate for difficulty setting bug.

(read Make RTW Harder Read me.txt for details) [fixed an issue with slingers using archers shooting sound after using Make RTW Harder]

 

Additional units:

1. Spain - Sacred Band cavalry, Barbarian Archers, Iberian Spearmen.

2. Numidia - Sacred Band cavalry, Iberian Spearmen.

2. Carthage - Scutarii and Carthaginian Archers, Libeyan Spearmen now use different model/texture than Poeni Infrantry.

3. Brtions - Barbarian Cavalry, Barbarian Archers, Barbarian Peltasts, Naked Fanatics, Chosen Archers (before the reforms availabe only on british Isle).

4. Egypt - War Elephants (added resource elephants at 199-48).

5. Thrace - Barbarian Noble Cavalry, Gothic Cavalry.

6. Gauls - Nightriders, Gothic Cavalry.

7. Scythia - Spear Warband, Cataphracts, Swordsmen, Peltasts.

8. Parthia - Heavy Spearmen, Cappodocian Cavalry, Eastern (Pontic)Heavy Cavalry.

9. Mercenaries - Armoured Elephants.

10.Armenia - Eastern (Pontic) Heavy Cavalry.

11.Greek Cities - Theban Sacred Band (recruitable only in Athens).

12.Macedon - Theban Sacred Band (recruitable only in Athens).

13.Seleucid - Desert Warriors, Theban Sacred Band (recruitable only in Athens).

14.Romans Julii/Scipii/Brutii - Samnite Warriors.

15.Eastern faction have officers (unarmoured) added.

16.Some of the factions above have new buildings added to incorporate the new units.

 

Balance Changes:

1. Naked Fanatics and Woad Warriors: morale +1, defence skill +1. - This is to make purchasing them worthwhile,

before they were much worse than Swordsmen and took twice as time to build.

2. Praetorians - Morale +1, added 'hardy' attribute.

3. Romans have fort building cost lowered by 50, all other factions have it raised by 50

- This is to show the uniques of Roman tactics of building forts.

4. Tweak Campaign AI to purchase better suited units for a given faction (CHANGES ONLY FOR: germans, scythia, spain)

5. Spanish Mercenaries made a bit tougher - This is to allow Carthage to relay more on mercenaries as they should.

6. Roman Generals (epecially early ones) made less overpowering to reflect lack of heavy cavalry in Roman Army.

7. Iberian infrantry & scutarii (for both Carthage and Spain) get +1 experience at royal barracks.

8. All cavalry units have attack value of primary weapon raised to the one of secondary weapon. Charge unchanged.

In theory after the charge is over unit should switch to secondary weapon (e.g. sword),

this happens only when you hold down ALT during attacking, which AI never does.

This change is a workaround to this problem.

9. All cavalry units have their charge bonus raised by app. 25%, previously differences in charge bonus were not noticible.

10. All spearmen/phalanxes have their anti-cav bonus raised by 1.

11. All spear using melee infrantry have a small (1) anti-cav bonus (e.g. hillmen)

12. Some units that had shield bonus without having a shield have this corrected.

13. Desert Cavalry/Axemen do not have armour in he stats (they're naked!), instead they have higher attack/other defence.

14. All Cataphracts use shields now.

15. Wardogs (animals not handlers) +1 to attack & charge.

16. Woad Warriors take one turn to build (since Britons have Naked Fanatics now).

17. Head Hurlers are melee infrantry and have tweaked stats now (throw heads before charge) - since Britons have skirmishers now.

18. All units +2 to morale.

19. Added some building levels to few factions to incorporate added units (have a look at building browser).

20. Wardogs/pigs are recruitable only in provinces with dogs/pigs resource (it's not visible), this mainly means that they're not recruitable in Eastern provinces.

21. Egypt has lowered starting money.

22. Seleucids, Parthia, Carthage have increased starting money.

23. Hillmen get +1 attack/charge bonus.

24. Eastern Mercenaries get a very small boost to their stats.

 

Tougher Senate:

1. Senate can build all Roman Temples (previously they could build none)

2. Senate can recruit Brutii and Scipii gladiators in addition to Julii ones.

3. Senate can recruit Arcani now.

4. All Hastaii and Princeps that Senate was starting with are changed into Praetorians.

Senate does not upgrade its armies after the reforms, since most players fight with Senate late in the game I deceided that this solution is more realistic.

5. Seante cannot recruit Hastatii & Princeps, instead Senate can recruit Praetorians from the beginning of the game

(reasons as in 4)

6. Seante starts with 6500 denari

Features

-----------------------------------------------

1. New trait and antitrait for sons to take after their fathers or strike out

on their own path. Most of the Coming of Age triggers have been reworked

to incorporate these two new traits. Half of sons take after their fathers,

and about 38% will be the opposite. The rest will lean neither one way or the other,

and be more like the typical RTW family members. This system allows traits

to be passed from one generation to the next, and so on, down the line.

 

2. New Trait for generals to track their age and apply bonuses or negatives

based on it, such as increased hit points for youths, and decreased

for older generals. A similar trait exists for spies, assassins, and diplomats.

 

3. More Traits for wives to bring their genetic input into the game:

Healthy Wife - increases fertility and makes sons more likely to be healthy

Sickly Wife - decreases fertility and makes sons less likely to be healthy

Intelligent Wife - increases possibility of intelligent sons; may teach her husband a thing or two

Ignorant Wife - decreases possibility of intelligent sons; may increase her husband's ignorance.

 

4. More Health-related traits

Lame - This man's battle wounds have left him lame in one leg.

Lame from Birth - This man was born lame and he must struggle with this.

FreeBleeder - This man has trouble staunching his wounds.

 

5. More Ancillaries

Leech - To keep the four humours in proper balance.

Noble Steed - An inspiring mount

Disgruntled Insider - new ancillary for spies and assassins

Concubine - Why stop at just one wife?

Imaginary Friend - to accompany your crazy nephew

Blind Prophet - to foretell your coming

 

 

GAFHMod includes the following working traits and triggers:

HealthyWife, SicklyWife, Haemophiliac, Lame, LameFromBirth, IntelligentWife,

IgnorantWife, TurnsAlive (four varieties - for generals, diplomats, spies, and assassins), CharacterAges (for tracking whether character age can be tracked), TakesAfterDad, NotLikeDad, SomethingToProve, NothingToProve.

leech, leech2, leech_egyptian, noble_steed, disgruntled_insider, concubine,

Modifications to triggers:

Inbred makes Haemophiliac and Lame From Birth more likely

More triggers for general's coming of age based on FatherTrait and stance toward his father (TakesAfterDad/NotLikeDad).

Играю и читаю на буржуйском, когда другого не остается.

Тем более я уже всё знаю что там есть, да и играл давно в ентот мод.

А вот все обновления читать и переводить меня ломает. Двойная работа получается

Кстати добрые люди с этого форума еще и перевод сделали к моду, если тебя интересует, то в патче выложенным мною для мода Vlad'a он присутствует.

Senks ! В моём дополнении ( EN PACK ) присутствует ПОЛНЫЙ ПЕРЕВОД подредактированный от 1С .то-ж. :)

Обновлён RELISE MOD ^ LEGION ^ до версии 1.1

Включен новый юнит за Римлян : Элитная Когорта

Исправлено ко-во гладиаторров в колеснице , теперь он один .

После небольшого beta-тестирования выяилась интересная особенность : на характер ведения боя и развития тактических манёвров влияет > кол-во юнитов в одном отряде и уровень сложности боя>>> исходя из изложенных наблюдений было проведено комплексное адаптирование мода для эффетивного использования тактических возможностей A.I

Тактический эффект проявляется не сразу и зависит то разных факторов.

А можно вернуть туман войны? С ним повеселее было.

 

Туман можно вернуть > файл в корневой папке с римом preferences.txt там есть строчка FOG_OF_WAR:FALSE а нуна TRUE и всё будет OK !

Все надо ставить на оргинал РТВ 1.2? И именно в такой последовательности?

Так, все же, "Legion мод" и мод на "http://www.greatlegion.h15.ru"это один и тот же мод или нет?

 

^LEGION^- это самостаятельный мод, а на сайте расположен пак для VLAD MODA .
